Comment on the 1979 Eclipse of Zeta-Aurigae
1980
Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific
Spectroscopic observations of £ Aur before, during, and after its 1979 eclipse are described. The estimated equivalent width of the absorption feature centered at 3934 Á and the depth of the Ca II K line indicate that the total eclipse was definitely ended by JD2444238.74 and that the depth of the calcium line was variable during egress.
