This paper describes the change in the operating conditions and actual use of multi-split type air conditioning systems to save power demand. There is a difference due to the room usage and the region of set point temperature and the operation time of the air conditioning indoor unit. It has resulted in a shortening tendency of the indoor unit operating time during cooling of the Kanto area power limit decree was issued.
