Abstrak E-commerce di Indonesia tumbuh pesat seiring dengan pesatnya pertumbuhan pengguan internet. Pelaku e-commerce juga tumbuh mengikuti trend belanja online di masyarakat. Pelaku transaksi e-commerce oleh perusahaan e-commerce besar yang menjual barang secara online mudah dilihat perkembangannya tetapi pelaku e-commerce yaitu penjual dan pembeli di masyarakat jarang memperoleh perhatian. more » ... itian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di Jawa Timur dengan melakukan clustering terhadap kota sampai tingkat Rukun Tetangga. Pemilihan responden di tingkat RT menggunakan systematic sampling. Pelaku e-commerce merata dari kalangan muda mulai umur 15 tahun sampai 45 tahun. Barang yang dibeli dan dijual paling banyak pakaian, sepatu, perhiasan serta perangkat elektronik. Pembayaran transaksi e-commerce kebanyakan dilakukan dengan transfer ke rekening penjual atau ke rekening pihak ketiga dan pembayaran di tempat setelah barang diterima (cash on delivery). Media penjualan kebanyakan dilakukan dengan media online yang tidak berbayar seperti media sosial dan iklan baris online. Abstract E-commerce in Indonesia grows rapidly along with the rapid growth of internet usage. The perpetrator of e-commerce also grew to follow online shopping trends in the community. The perpetrator's of e-commerce transactions by large e-commerce companies which sells goods by online are easy to see the progress but perpetrator of e-commerce that is seller and buyer in the community rarely get attention. This study view the profiles of perpetrator of e-commerce and how e-commerce transactions are conducted. This study is descriptive with quantitative approach. The study was conducted in East Java by clustering the city to the neighborhood level. Selection of respondents at the neighborhood level using systematic sampling. Perpetrator of e-commerce are equally distributed among the age of 15 years to 45 years. Items that are widely bought and sold most clothes, shoes, jewelry and electronic devices. Payment of e-commerce transactions is mostly done by transfer or to a third party. Media used for sale mostly by online which is unpaid such as social media and online classified.
