A Study on the meaning of participation of the Universities to the Machi-Zukuri of City Center from the view point of the relationship to the problems of the Machizukuri groups

Recently, various Machizukuri Groups, including universities, act in the city center, though they have many problems of their own. This research focuses on such problems of the Machizukuri groups acting in the city center, by taking Semba (Osaka), Nihonbashi (Tokyo) and Kyoto as examples, and examines the significance of the participation of the university into the diversifying Machizukuri in it.
