For this purpose, teachers were asked for their opinions on school administrators' skills in managing general services, managing human resources, managing educational services, managing teaching services, and managing student services. This research is in the nature of ethnographic research, one of the qualitative research methods. In the research, it is aimed to describe personal perceptions about a certain phenomenon. The study group of this research, which is a qualitative study, consists of 16 teachers working in secondary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the 2021-2022 academic year and selected by the maximum diversity sampling method. Ethics committee permission was obtained according to the decision of the ethics committee of Ondokuz Mayıs University, dated 25 March 2022 and numbered 3. A semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool. Research data were collected by individual interview technique and the obtained data were analyzed by content analysis method. As a result of the research, it was seen that most of the teachers found their managers' skills to manage general services such as maintenance, repair, editorial and accounting affairs sufficient. While the administrators were found sufficient by the teachers in the documents and official transactions related to the ability to manage human resources, they were mostly found insufficient in social issues such as relations with the personnel. Administrators were mostly found to be inadequate in terms of parent and environmental relations in managing educational services. Teachers mostly found their administrators sufficient in managing instructional services.
