Procedure for self-adjustment of resource allocation Key to the performance of grid applications is the choice of resources composing the virtual organization (computing system) to be used to execute the application. This choice is made by schedulers. Fig. 1 illustrates the various phases in the execution of a grid application, with the bottom left showing the steps needed for scheduling.
