This abstract describes, in broad strokes, an analysis performed on Gavin Douglas's Eneados (1513) using a corpus linguistic based-method. This abstract describes the kind of digital files used in this analysis along with their levels of annotation and tagging. It also points out this method's strengths and weaknesses, as well as what this analysis has discovered and its significance. It ends with the view that this an effective--though non-traditional--method for literary analysis.
