In this paper we investigated numerically light beam propagation through a one-dimensional composite photonic lattice composed of two structurally different lattices, with a geometric defect emerging at the interface between the two of them. Depending on the initial light beam position with respect to the geometric defect and the transverse tilt of the input beam, different dynamical regimes have been identified.
