In this paper, we proposed a faulty pattern detection algorithm of TCP(Tape Carrier Package)/COF(Chip On Film), and implemented a real-time system for inspecting TCP/COF. Since TCP/COF has very high resolution having several micro meters, the human operator should visually inspect all the parts through microscope.
