The project is designed to a system of wireless power transfer for drive electric car without stopping when it is discharge. Many people use electric car implanted in their daily life that runs on a battery. The user is required to be charge after every 200 Km to charge the battery .This project is designed to charge a rechargeable battery wirelessly for the purpose. This project is formed out of an ac 230 volt 50 Hz to ac 20 KHz at 12 volt circuit .The output is fed to a tuned 20 KHz coil

The output of the secondary is given to a high frequency bridge rectifier that delivers dc which is then regulated to maintain a constant charging current to a supercapacitor or NiCd (Nickel Cadmium) rechargeable battery. Normally these batteries have a long life of 7 years. "This type of technology makes the whole process unobtrusive, and cars could be charged faster and more frequently". Such advances would make the drivers lives much easier. They would also enable manufacturers to use smaller and simpler batteries, and this in turn means lighter and more affordable electrical vehicles with extended range.
