Dynamic coefficients in impact mechanics

Since the erosion rate depends on energy exchange between particles and the material, a reformulation of the equations of the collision of two solid bodies is presented. The solution is adapted to the calculation of the energy, absorbed by the plain material surface during the impact of a spherical particle.
