Yoshihiro 粘着テープ剥離実験 [1] などでみられるパターン形成のダイナミックスは, 簡単に以下の 四つの特徴を持つ素子集団のダイナミックスと考えることができる. 1) 双安定性, 2) 非対称局所的な相互作用, 3) 大域的相互作用, 4) ノイズ これらの特徴を持つ力学系の方程式として以下の力学系モデルが提案されている [2].
