The aim of this paper is to investigate the universal values which are used in the classroom communication bye preschool teachers. ... e purpose of this study, teachers' behaviors were noted and their verbal expressions were recorded with the help of tape recorder. In order to analyze the research data, Content Analysis-one of the qualitative research methods-was used. The report of the sound recordings consisted of 78 pages. According to the findings of the research, 12 different values were used by teachers in classroom activities. Among these values, the most commonly used universal values are "Politeness Cooperation, Responsibility, Respect and Patience".
