Purpose: To identify predictive factors of upstaging from diagnosed ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) to invasive cancer after surgical excision. Methods: One hundred seventy-four patients diagnosed with DCIS based on biopsies between January 2009 and December 2014 were evaluated. Patients' clinicopathological variables were assessed to identify predictive factors of invasive carcinoma from final pathology. Results: One hundred seventy-four cases of DCIS were included.
