Of the four active US space launch bases, the Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) works well for space exploration missions. The NASA and USAF are taking advantage of that fact to baseline WFF as the launch site for the inaugural launch of the Minotaur V for LADEE and the new Taurus II launch vehicle in support of International Space Station (ISS) resupply missions. WFF provides the necessary launch position and services that space launch vehicles require for reaching the moon and destinations
