This article is concerned with the quality of agricultural water, it is specifically a study of the quality of water entering and leaving farms and the potential effects of these waters on ecosystems. Thus, two sampling campaigns were carried out on the irrigation and drainage water of SENHUILE and SCL. Emphasis was placed on various parameters, namely physical parameters (temperature, conductivity, salinity), organoleptic parameters (turbidity), chemical parameters (hydrogen potential,
more » ... vity) and the Rate of Dissolved Matter (RDM). The results showed that the irrigation waters are salty overall with changes at different levels but suitable for irrigation. However, the drainage water is very heavy. The conductivity, salinity and rate of dissolved matter remain high at the level of the SENHUILE drains, accelerating the process of soil salinization and destruction of the natural ecosystems of the Senegal river delta
