Objectives: Natural killer cells (NKs) are one of the most important cells which play a key role in fetomaternal immune tolerance. This immune tolerance is induced by the interaction of fetal human leucocyte antigens (HLAs) and maternal killer-cell immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIRs).
