A research work was conducted during the period of March to December 2008 to observe the taxonomic parameters of some selected common ranids of Bangladesh. . The specimens were collected from different areas of the country. For the convenience of observation only four species of the family Ranidae, i.e., Euphyctis cyanophlyctis, Fejervarya limnocharis, Hylarana typehensis and Hoplobatrachus tigerinus were studied.
