Steen Rostam, born 1943, received his MSc and PhD degrees at the Technical University of Denmark. For about 18 years he was parttime at the Technical University, for the last 12 as Associate Professor. For the remaining time he was in the Bridge Department of COWIconsult. Since 1990 Rostam is full time with COWI as Chief Engineer, being overall responsible for concrete and durability technology within the firm.
