... ek lisans tezinden üretilmiştir 249 knowledge economy has become one of the most emphasized subjects of developing countries, especially those who want to grow their economies and increase welfare. Therefore BRICS countries with the Turkey were analyzed by panel data analysis technique using gross domestic product per capita, internet usage rate, education index and patent applications variables for the period of 1995-2017. According to the results, independent variables representing three different dimensions of knowledge economy affect economic growth at different rates and positively. As a result of these results, it can be said that the knowledge economy is an important factor in providing economic growth and welfare increase.
