Hypothesis: It remains unknown if the increasing use of carotid artery stenting (CAS) has caused a change in the population-based use of carotid endarterectomy (CEA). We sought to examine national trends in carotid revascularization. Design: Retrospective cohort study. Setting: Academic research.
