Produk-produk animasi kini tidak saja digunakan dalam industri film layar lebar, namun juga banyak dimanfaatkan untuk produksi videografi, iklan maupun aplikasi game multimedia. Selain kekuatan cerita, salah satu aspek penting dalam film animasi adalah desain karakter/figur. Karena sebagian besar keberhasilan penyampaian pesan cerita sebuah film termasuk animasi banyak dipengaruhi oleh kekuatan<br />desain karakter/figure yang memerankannya.
