Morphology and chemical composition of metastable phases in an Al-5.72at% Ag alloy have been investigated by means of atom-probe field ion microscopy. The ri -G. P. zone appears to have an ordered structure and its average solute concentration is 45.8at8 Ag at 413 K. The c-G. P.
