The study examined the Iraqi sea fishing effort, which is the number of vessels, fishing boats and fishermen, and its relationship with the amount of fishing in the Iraqi marine water. The total catch was estimated to be a unit of catch per unit effort (CPUE), where August recorded the highest values and February recorded the lowest.
