A survey of fungal diseases on alfalfa (cv. Sewa) in Ismailia governorate was carried out during 2011 and 2012. Percentages of infection were determined in five districs. Ismailia district, however, showed the highest percentage of infection by root rot / wilt disease and foliage diseases (0.0-60.0 %).
