The special significance of this process as a way to optimize economic ties and socio-economic relations is emphasized, the contribution of the digital economy as a factor of economic growth to the aggregate product is highlighted. It is proved that the development of digitalization is a necessary condition for Russia's competitiveness, especially in the conditions of the consequences of the pandemic and harsh anti-Russian sanctions.
