Objectives The Frailty index (FI) calculates frailty as the sum of health deficits divided by the total number of variables and reflects biopsychosocial and cultural determinants of well-being. A Colonia is a predominantly Hispanic, economically distressed, unincorporated neighborhood and varies in resources according to geographic location and contributors to social determinants of health.
