The aim of this study is to determine the degree of including the linguistic and social intelligence skills in the 8th grade Arabic language textbook in Jordan. The study sample consisted of the 8th grade Arabic language textbook in Jordan. The researchers used the method of content analysis to detect the frequency and percentages of the linguistic and social intelligence skills. The study reached a number of results. The item "The ability to communicate with others orally and in writing" obtained the highest frequency (63 times; 12,40%), and finally, the item "The ability to recognize the difference between words in the order and ‫ﺍﻟﻌﺩﺩ‬ ‫ﺍﻷﺯﻫﺭ،‬ ‫ﺠﺎﻤﻌﺔ‬ ‫ﺍﻟﺘﺭﺒﻴﺔ،‬ ‫ﻜﻠﻴﺔ‬ ‫ﻤﺠﻠﺔ‬ ) : ١٨٠ ‫ﺍﻷﻭل‬ ‫ﺍﻟﺠﺯﺀ‬ ( ‫ﻟﺴﻨﺔ‬ ‫ﺃﻜﺘﻭﺒﺭ‬ ٢٠١٨ ‫ﻡ‬ -٦٦٦ -rhythm" got the lowest frequency (17 times; 343% ). The results also showed that the Arabic language textbook included 168 social intelligence skills. The skill "Mastering linguistic communication patterns" received the highest frequency (40 times, 23.80%). The item "The ability to understand the others' moods, their intentions and feelings" obtained the lowest frequency (12 times, 7.14%).
