This work proposes a proactive reactive scheme to mitigate the effect of random permanent node(s) failure on the Ideal Shortest Path Tree (ISPT) Spreading rules in the Wireless Sensor Networks' (WSNs) Contour Guided Dissemination (CGD) protocol.
