Dalit Literature is one of the important streams of the Indian literature which was started by such authors who experienced caste and class based discrimination in their life which has been keeping them in the suppressed and marginalised condition since their birth. These authors, through their literary creations, give voice to suppressed and marginalised people who are unable to move with the pace of modernisation due to domination of hegemonic power of society.
