In this paper, a soft-switched PWM converter is proposed. Proposed converter has two added saturable inductors, which are operated to reduce the reverse recovery current of the diodes as well as minimize the effective on time of the auxiliary switch. The switching losses of the switches are very low for soft switching; moreover, the conduction loss of the auxiliary switch is minimized.
