Design and analysis of a light electric vehicle
2021
Mechanical Sciences
Abstract. This paper discusses a systematic vehicle design process in which light weight is taken as the vehicle design objective, and the designed frame is analyzed in detail. The load condition of a vehicle under different circumstances is calculated according to the distances from the front and rear wheels to the centroid position. The stress on the components in the condition is analyzed by finite element analysis, the steering geometry of the vehicle is analyzed, and the vehicle's turning

... ngle and radius are designed. The displacement of the vehicle under a load is calculated by rigidity analysis to determine the stability of the vehicle in motion. The experimental modal analysis of the real frame and the finite element method are verified mutually for the electric vehicle body-in-white (BIW) manufacturing process to determine the consistency of model formation and the real frame. In terms of the circuit design, we used no-fuse switches and fuses to provide overcurrent protection for the main power supply, and the chip is combined with an optically coupled circuit and current sensor, which is driven by a restriction controller for protection. Moreover, a solid-state relay (SSR) is used for current protection and for controlling the forward/reverse rotation of the motor.
Unusual Field Dependence of Anomalous Hall Effect in Ta/TbFeCo

Experimental studies of anomalous Hall effect are performed for thin filmed Ta/TbFeCo in a wide range of temperatures and magnetic fields up to 3 T. While far from the compensation temperature (TM=277 K) the field dependence has a conventional shape of a single hysteresis loop, just below the compensation point the dependence is anomalous having the shape of a triple hysteresis. To understand this behavior, we experimentally reveal the magnetic phase diagram and theoretically analyze it in

Fast Texture Coding Based on Spatial, Temporal and Inter-View Correlations for 3D Video Coding
2021
IEEE Access
3D-HEVC (The 3D Extension of High Efficiency Video Coding), the latest international standard for 3D video coding, supports multiview plus depth 3D video format to enrich multimedia applications. For the texture coding, 3D-HEVC utilizes not only the information of temporal and spatial domains but also that of inter-view domain. However, the time consumption and complexity of 3D-HEVC also increase significantly. In this paper, fast texture coding algorithm for 3D-HEVC is proposed. We

... calculate the Pearson correlation coefficients by the rate-distortion costs (RD-costs) of coding tree units (CTUs) in the temporal, spatial and inter-view domains to analyze the correlations for independent view and dependent view. The proposed coding algorithm is based on the coding information of CTUs with higher correlations. The fast algorithm predicts and dynamically adjusts the depth range of the coding unit (CU). The prediction unit (PU) mode decision is proposed according to the complexity and partition direction of the best PU modes obtained from the highly correlated CTUs. The search range is adaptively adjusted for motion estimation. In addition, the RD-cost threshold is estimated to early terminate the CU split. Experimental results show that the proposed fast texture coding algorithm reduces the texture coding time significantly and outperforms numerous previous works. INDEX TERMS 3D-HEVC, texture coding, CU early termination, fast PU decision, search range adjustment.

... rms of spin-flop-like phase transitions. In this case, we observe the dominance of the Fe-Co sublattice, which is a subject of the strong interaction with the Ta layer. This Fe-Co anisotropy enhancement is expressed in the appearance of abnormal wing-shaped hysteresis loops near the compensation point and, in the unusual phase diagram, where the first-order phase transition line deviates towards low temperatures. This effect can be useful for the design of ultrafast ferrimagnetic devices with desired switching parameters.
Production of Trans-Cinnamic Acid by Immobilization of the Bambusa oldhamii BoPAL1 and BoPAL2 Phenylalanine Ammonia-Lyases on Electrospun Nanofibers
2021
International Journal of Molecular Sciences
Phenylalanine ammonia-lyase (PAL) catalyzes the nonoxidative deamination of phenylalanine to yield trans-cinnamic acid and ammonia. Recombinant Bambusa oldhamii BoPAL1/2 proteins were immobilized onto electrospun nanofibers by dextran polyaldehyde as a cross-linking agent. A central composite design (CCD)-response surface methodology (RSM) was utilized to optimize the electrospinning parameters. Escherichia coli expressed eBoPAL2 exhibited the highest catalytic efficiency among four enzymes.

... optimum conditions for fabricating nanofibers were determined as follows: flow rate of 0.10 mL/h, voltage of 13.8 kV, and distance of 13 cm. The response surface models were used to obtain the smaller the fiber diameters as well as the highest PAL activity in the enzyme immobilization. Compared with free BoPALs, immobilized BoPALs can be reused for at least 6 consecutive cycles. The remained activity of the immobilized BoPAL proteins after storage at 4 °C for 30 days were between 75 and 83%. In addition, the tolerance against denaturants of the immobilized BoPAL proteins were significantly enhanced. As a result, the dextran polyaldehyde natural cross-linking agent can effectively replace traditional chemical cross-linking agents for the immobilization of the BoPAL enzymes. The PAL/nylon 6/polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/chitosan (CS) nanofibers made are extremely stable and are practical for industrial applications in the future.
