In the present study, a biomarker was prepared by employing the water-soluble CuInS2/ZnS QDs conjugated to an anti-Ki-67 monoclonal antibody to detect Ki-67 expression in breast cancer. The QDs, which were hydrophobic and coated with octadecylamine, were encapsulated with an amphiphilic biocompatible centipede-like polymer, and then conjugated to anti-Ki-67 monoclonal antibodies (QD-Ki-67 probes). The QD-Ki-67 probes retained the original optical properties of the unadorned QDs and did not exhibit distinct toxic side effects in in vitro cytotoxicity experiments. Therefore, this CuInS2/ZnS QD-labeled bioprobe, with a high quantum yield and low cytotoxicity, is a promising candidate for bioimaging and may be used as a cell label.

The birefringence distribution of a 6 m-thick SiO2 film from the center to the edge on a 6-inch silicon wafer was measured to be 0.0006 to 0.0038, leading to an equivalent stress distribution cross the wafer from −170 to −1000 MPa. This implies that the compressive stress of the thick SiO2 film on the wafer was nonuniformly distributed; however, it gradually increased from the center to the edge. Meanwhile, the measured stress of a SiO2 film decreased with the flow rate of the doped GeH4 gas. The algebraic sum of the above three stresses reached excellent agreement with the measurement results in both distribution form and amplitude. In both research and production, the agreeable optical property distributions between the theoretical calculations and experimental measurements are more sustainable to further improving the yields of SiO2 thick film PLC products.

First, a lots of terahertz images are collected and labeled as the standard data format. Secondly, this paper establishes the terahertz classification dataset and proposes a classification method based on transfer learning. Then considering the special distribution of terahertz image, an improved faster region-based convolutional neural network (Faster R-CNN) method based on threshold segmentation is proposed for detecting human body and other objects independently. Finally, experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method for terahertz image detection.

In comparison to hydraulic and electrical actuators, the significant drawback of pneumatic actuators is low energy conversion ability which is due to the open-circuit structure in nature. Transwell invasion, wound-healing and matrix-cell adhesion experiments confirmed that β-asarone inhibited the invasion, migration and adhesion of human gastric cancer BGC-823 cells. Quantitative real-time PCR and western blotting found that β-asarone significantly activated caspase-3, caspase-8, caspase-9, Bax, Bak and suppressed Bcl-2, Bcl-xL and survivin activity. Moreover, β-asarone increased the expression of RECK, E-cadherin and decreased the expression of MMP-2, MMP-9, MMP-14 and N-cadherin. The present study demonstrated that β-asarone effectively inhibits the proliferation of human gastric cancer cells, induces their apoptosis and decreased the invasive, migratory and adhesive abilities.
Although residual connection enables training very deep neural networks, it is not friendly for online inference due to its multi-branch topology. In this paper, we aim to remedy this problem and propose to remove the residual connection in a vanilla ResNet equivalently by a reserving and merging (RM) operation on ResBlock. Specifically, the RM operation allows input feature maps to pass through the block while reserving their information and merges all the information at the end of each block, which can remove residual connections without changing the original output. As a plug-in method, RM Operation basically has three advantages: 1) its implementation makes it naturally friendly for high ratio network pruning. 2) it helps break the depth limitation of RepVGG. 3) it leads to better accuracy-speed trade-off network (RMNet) compared to ResNet and RepVGG.
