Based on symbiosis theory and principle of system engineering, this paper discussed the symbiosis unit, symbiosis mode and symbiotic environment of industral clusters, built a system engineering model called "cluster and symbiosis degree model" which could be used to evaluate the symbiosis situation between two industral clusters, and carried out an empirical analysis for the symbiosis situation between venture capital industrial cluster and high-tech industrial cluster of Beijing, Shanghai and

The result shows that the symbiosis situation of Shenzhen's venture capital industrial cluster and high-tech industrial cluster is much better than that of Beijing and Shanghai. This model could be used to evaluate the symbiosis situation of any industrial clusters, which will have important theoretical and practical value to any industrial system.

Gels of Amyloid Fibers

Protein self-assembly and formation of amyloid fibers is an early event of numerous human diseases. Continuous aggregation of amyloid fibers in vitro produces biogels, which led us to suspect that amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles in Alzheimer's disease are of biogels in nature. We applied atomic force microscopy, size exclusion chromatography, and differential scanning calorimetry to elucidate the gel's structure, kinetics of gel formation, and melting point. We found that (1)
more » ... e gelation occurs when the protein concentration is above 5 mg/mL; (2) nonfibrous protein concentration decreases and plateaus after three days of gel synthesis reaction; (3) colloidal lysozyme aggregates are detectable by both atomic force microscopy (AFM) and fast protein liquid chromatography (FPLC); (4) the gels are a three-dimensional (3D) network crosslinked by fibers coiling around each other; (5) the gels have a high melting point at around around 110 °C, which is weakly dependent on protein concentration; (6) the gels are conductive under an electric field, and (7) they form faster in the presence than in the absence of salt in the reaction buffer. The potential role of the gels formed by amyloid fibers in amyloidosis, particularly in Alzheimer's disease was thoroughly discussed, as gels with increased viscosity, are known to restrict bulk flow and then circulation of ions and molecules.

In this paper, a joint subchannel and power allocation problem is formulated for HetNets to maximize the energy efficiency (EE). Fiber fabry-pero micro pressure sensor

A new fiber fabry-perot pressure sensor is designed. It is made by photolithography, silicon wafer etching, anode bonding, microelectromechanical system technology and so on. The experimental demodulation system is established, the pressure, temperature and other characteristics are tested in detail. The experiment result shows that within the pressure range of 0~0.1MPa, the sensor has a good linearity, high repeatability and a sensitivity of 61.6  m/MPa.

The 2D magnetohydrodynamic equations with magnetic diffusion

This paper examines the initial-value problem for the two-dimensional magnetohydrodynamic equation with only magnetic diffusion (without velocity dissipation). Whether or not its classical solutions develop finite time singularities is a difficult problem and remains open. This paper establishes two main results. The first result features a regularity criterion in terms of the magnetic field. This criterion comes naturally from our approach to obtain a global bound for the vorticity. Due to the
more » ... lack of velocity dissipation, it is difficult to conclude the boundedness of the vorticity from the vorticity equation itself. Instead we derive and involve a new equation for the combined quantity of the vorticity and a singular integral operator on the tensor product of the magnetic field. This criterion may be verifiable. Our second main result is a weaker version of the small data global existence result, which is shown by the bootstrap argument.
