MapReduce (MR) model algorithms for maximizing monotone, submodular functions subject to a cardinality constraint (SMCC) are currently restricted to the use of the linear-adaptive (non-parallelizable) algorithm GREEDY. Low-adaptive algorithms do not satisfy the requirements of these distributed MR frameworks, thereby limiting their performance. more »... and G-DASH provide (0.316-ε), (0.375-ε) and (0.632-ε) approximation ratio respectively with near-optimal adaptive complexity. Additionally, we provide a memory-efficient framework MED that eliminates the memory limitations of all MR model algorithms resulting from large distributed setups or considerable cardinality constraints. Finally, we provide empirical evidence to demonstrate that our sublinear-adaptive distributed algorithms provide orders of magnitude faster speedup in runtime compared to current state-of-the-art distributed algorithms while producing near identical results.

Novelty: The study took broad aspects resulting in voluntary turnover firstly and applied the multinomial regression and multilayer perceptron model for analyzing categorical data. Research method: Along with the descriptive analysis, the research applied multinomial regression and multilayer perceptron model to analyze data. Besides, Secondary data of manufacturing-based organization was collected from kaggle.com archive for the study purpose. Findings: Table 2 to 8 display the empirical findings of the study. Table 5 explained correlation and table 6 showed regression results of the study. Correlations showed that performance score and complaints directly contribute to the turnover decision, while multinomial regression proved that error, performance score, pay, complaints, abutments lead to the voluntary turnover decision. Contribution: The findings contribute to the literature by identifying different causes of voluntary turnover in manufacturing organizations. The study will help the manufacturing organizations to address the voluntary turnover. The study has five dependent variables- working environment, supervision, pay and promotion, performance evaluation and relationship with coworkers. Job satisfaction is considered as the dependent variable. This study is empirical in nature and the overall research is based on both quantitative and qualitative statistical methods such as- Mean, Standard Deviation, Weighted Mean, and Pearson Correlation Analysis. Five hypotheses are tested to achieve overall objectives of the study using ANOVA. 200 employees from 39 private commercial banks within Dhaka city are used as the sample population for the study. After the analysis some recommendations are made for the stakeholders based on the findings with a view to providing some insights regarding job satisfaction and the factors influential to it. The insights of the study can practically be applied to Human Resource (HR) policy and decision making regarding effective HR management.
