Diterpenoid alkaloids are a diverse group of natural products with significant structural complexity and bioactivities, including anti-inflammatory, anti-arrhythmia, analgesia, local anesthetic, muscle relaxant, hypotensive, anti-tumor and immune regulation. In this article, we summarized the progress in antitumor activity of diterpenoid alkaloids to provide ideas for medicinal development prospects of antitumor.

Refractive Index Measurement Research for Optical Fiber Based on Digital Hologram

A test system including light path system and software system is built for measuring the refractive index of fiber by using the digital holographic tomography technology. Based on the phase distribution curve of object wave the optimal hologram is recorded. The spectral range corresponding to the object wave is selected accurately based on the optimization of the spectrum. The phase distribution information of object wave is extracted with the angular spectrum reconstraction. The accuracy of
more &raquo; ... racted phase information has been verified through the simulation holograms of optical fiber. Combined with the multilayers model of fiber, the refractive index distribution along the diameter direction of fiber tomogram is recovered from a single hologram. Single-mode and multi-mode optical fiber are tested as samples. The experiment results are consistent with the results of S14 refractive index profiler, the precision is 10 −4 . The compare result shows that our method is simple, fast and accurate for the measurement of the refractive index of fibers. We have also studied the measurement of the refractive index distribution of the special optical fiber.

Block Toeplitz and Hankel matrices arise in many aspects of applications. In this paper, we will research the distributions of eigenvalues for some models and get the semicircle law. Firstly we will give trace formulae of block Toeplitz and Hankel matrix. Then we will prove that the almost sure limit γ__T^(m) (γ__H^(m)) of eigenvalue distributions of random block Toeplitz (Hankel) matrices exist and give the moments of the limit distributions where m is the order of the blocks. The equation of state and radial oscillations of neutron stars [article]

We investigate radial oscillations of pure neutron stars and hybrid stars, employing equations of state of nuclear matter from Brueckner-Hartree-Fock theory, and of quark matter from the Dyson-Schwinger quark model, performing a Gibbs construction for the mixed phase in hybrid stars. We calculate the eigenfrequencies and corresponding oscillation functions. Our results for the zero points of the first-order radial oscillation frequencies give the maximum mass of stable neutron stars, consistent
more &raquo; ... with the common criterion dM/dρ_c=0. Possible observations of the radial oscillation frequencies could help to learn more about the equation of state, predict the maximum mass of neutron stars more precisely, and indicate the presence of quark matter.

Investigation of the driven mechanism of the price dynamics in complex financial systems is important and challenging. In this paper, we propose an investment strategy to study how dynamic fluctuations drive the price movements. The strategy is successfully applied to different stock markets in the world, and the result indicates that the driving effect of the dynamic fluctuations is rather robust. We investigate how the strategy performance is influenced by the market states and optimize the
more &raquo; ... rategy performance by introducing two parameters. The strategy is also compared with several typical technical trading rules. Our findings not only provide an investment strategy which extends investors' profits, but also offer a useful method to look into the dynamic properties of complex financial systems.

Serum proteomics analysis of feline mammary carcinoma based on label-free and PRM techniques

Feline mammary carcinoma is the third most common cancer that affects female cats. The purpose of this study was to screen differential serum proteins in feline and clarify the relationship between them and the occurrence of feline mammary carcinoma. Chinese pastoral cats were used as experimental animals. Six serum samples from cats with mammary carcinoma (group T) and six serum samples from healthy cats (group C) were selected. Differential protein analysis was performed using a Label-free
more &raquo; ... hnique, while parallel reaction monitoring (PRM) was performed to verify the screened differential proteins. A total of 82 differential proteins were detected between group T and group C, of which 55 proteins were down regulated and 27 proteins were up regulated. Apolipoprotein A-I, Apolipoprotein A-II (ApoA-II), Apolipoprotein B (ApoB), Apolipoprotein C-III (ApoC-III), coagulation factor V, coagulation factor X, C1q, albumen (ALB) were all associated with the occurrence of feline mammary carcinoma. Differential proteins were involved in a total of 40 signaling pathways, among which the metabolic pathways associated with feline mammary carcinoma were the complement and coagulation cascade and cholesterol metabolism. According to the Label-free results, ApoB, ApoC-III, ApoA-II, FN1, an uncharacterized protein, and ALB were selected for PRM target verification. The results were consistent with the trend of the label-free. This experimen is the first to confirm ApoA-II and ApoB maybe new feline mammary carcinoma biomarkers and to analyze their mechanisms in the development of such carcinoma in feline.

Influence of Radio-Frequecy Power on Structural and Electrical Properties of Sputtered Hafnium Dioxide Thin Films

Hafnium dioxide (HfO2) thin films are prepared by rf magnetron sputtering. The influences of rf power on the structure, chemical states and electrical properties of the thin films were investigated through x-ray diffraction, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, capacitance-voltage and leakage current density-voltage measurement and UV-VIS spectrophotometry. The results show that the HfO2 thin films have a mixed structure of amorphous and polycrystalline phases. With increasing rf power, the
more &raquo; ... linity is enhanced and the crystallite size of the thin films is increased. The oxidation of Hf atoms is improved with increasing rf power for the HfO2 thin films. The flat band shift, oxide charge density and leakage current density of the thin films all decrease as the rf power increases from 50 to 110 W, and then increase as the rf power is increased to 140 W. The band gap energy is smaller for the thin film deposited at 110 W.

Berge-Fulkerson coloring for infinite families of snarks [article]

It is conjectured by Berge and Fulkerson that every bridgeless cubic graph has six perfect matchings such that each edge is contained in exactly two of them. Hägglund constructed two graphs Blowup(K_4, C) and Blowup(Prism, C_4). Based on these two graphs, Chen constructed infinite families of bridgeless cubic graphs M_0,1,2, ...,k-2, k-1 which is obtained from cyclically 4-edge-connected and having a Fulkerson-cover cubic graphs G_0,G_1,..., G_k-1 by recursive process. In this paper, we solve this problem and prove that every graph in M_0,1,2, ...,k-2, k-1 has a Fulkerson-cover.

Electrical, Structural and Interfacial Characterization of HfO2Films on Si Substrates

Hafnium oxide films are deposited on Si (100) substrates by means of rf magnetron sputtering. The interfacial structure is studied using high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and the electrical properties of the Au/ HfO2/Si stack are analyzed by frequency-dependent capacitance-voltage ( --) measurements. The amorphous interfacial layer between HfO2 and the Si substrate is observed by the HRTEM method. From the results of XPS, the
more &raquo; ... erfacial layer comprises hafnium silicate and silicon oxide. For --measurements, the -plots show a peak at a low frequency and the change in frequency has effects on the intensity of the peak.
