고려대학교 제어계측공학과. 1. 서론 지금 세계는 18세기 산업혁명의 결과로 급속한 산업의 발달을 이루었으나 인 구가 기하급수적으로 증가하고 심각한 기후 변화로 인해 안정적인 식량 확보 문 제가 대두되고 있다. 이에 따라 각 국(國)은 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 에너지 문제와 더불어 중요 국가 정책으로 선정하고 있다. 이러한 시대적 배경에 따라 농업분야도 관련기술의 급속한 발전과 구조 혁명이 이루어지고 있다. 농업은 고 전적으로 자연환경과 인력에 의존하는 1차 산업의 성격이 강했으나, 최근에는 기술과 서비스가 집약되는 2차, 3차 산업을 포함하는 복합 산업으로 성장하고 있고, 변화하는 농업의 개념에 따라 농업 방식의 개선이 요구 되고 있다. 특히 우리나라와 같이 단위 면적당 생산량이 적고, 농촌 인구가 적으며, 농촌 기피율 이 높은 환경에서는 농업의 기계화, 자동화, 컴퓨터 정보처리 등의 기술도입을 통한 생산성 향상, 경영구조 개선이 요구되고 있다. 2. 농업용 로봇 2.1. 농업용
more » ... 로봇의 구성 농업용 로봇은 농업 시스템의 중요한 물리적 생물학적 특성을 측정하는 검출 체계(sensing system)와 농업 방식이 어떻게 제어되어야 하는지를 결정하는 감 지체계(sensor system)로부터 정보를 조작하는 의사결정 능력, 농업 체계를 적 절히 조정하는 액추에이터(Actuator) 등의 3개의 기본구조로 구성된다.(옥환석, 2009) 검출 체계와 감지체계에서 성공적으로 쓰이고 있는 기술이 바로 기계시 각(machine vision)이며, 액추에이터(Actuator)분야에서는 메니플레이터에서 (Manipulator)와 엔드이펙터(End-effector)기술이 쓰이고 있다. 2.2. 기계시각 기계시각(machine vision) 기술이란 일반적으로, 인간이 눈으로 보고, 인지 하며, 사고하는 작업을 기계가 대신하여 하는 기술을 통칭하여 일컫는다(조태훈, 첨단 기술과 농업의 융합 • 121 1999). 1970년대부터 발전해온 영상처리 기술을 바탕으로 하여, 거의 모든 산 업 분야의 자동화 시스템에서 위치 보정, 품질검사, 분류 및 인식 등의 용도로 많이 사용된다. 전형적인 기계시각 응용에서는 작업환경에 있는 영상 카메라가 검사 대상 물체의 영상을 취득하여 기계 시각 컴퓨터(Machine Vision Computer)에게 보낸다. 그러면, 컴퓨터는 영상해석 소프트웨어(알고리즘)를 이 용하여 영상들로부터 정보를 추출하여, 이 영상들에 대한 판단, 즉 주로, 위치 확인, 검사, 인식, 자동측정 등을 수행하게 된다. 이 기계 시각을 농업에 적용 하려는 시도는 꾸준히 증가하였으며, 일부 선진국뿐만 아니라 국내에서도 다양 한 시도가 있었다. <그림 1> 씨눈 판별 흐름도 -첫 번째로 CCD 카메라와 컴퓨터를 이용하여 씨눈 위치 판정 알고리즘이 개발되어 있으며 씨눈의 판정을 위한 영상처리 단계는 그림 1과 같이 『영상 입력 → 이치화(종자추출) → 라벨링(종자 계수) → 특징점 추출(종자의 x, y 방향 최대/최소값 좌표검출) → 영상처리 영역 설정(씨눈 쪽/반대 쪽) → 면적값 추출 (씨눈 쪽/반대 쪽) → 씨눈 판정』의 순서로 판정한다. -입력된 여러 종류의 씨들이 일정 공급 자세에서 일정 각도(0°15°) 범위
