KLINISCHE BEDEUTUNG VON RIVOFLAVIN BEI SINUSITIS CHRONICA Von JUNICHI SATO O-R-L Klinik der Nihon med, Hochschule

JUNICHI SATO
1966 Nippon Jibiinkoka Gakkai Kaiho
more » ... in fibrosem-Typ. 7.67r/g. 3.

The unbleached beech sulphate pulp of maximum screened yield and that of lower screened yield were bleached to the same brightness (Hunter 80) by means of five-stage bleaching. The chemical and mechanical properties of those pulps were examined.

STUDIES ON SULPHATE PROCESS

Junichi Sato, Isao Shimoda
1958 Sen'i Gakkaishi
Red pine and birch were cooked by the sulphate process under the conditions that the active alkali (expressed as Na2O) -to-wood ratio was kept constant at 20% and the sulphidity of the cooking liquor varied from 0 to 100% sulphidity at various times. The chemical and mechanical properties of the pulp of the same yields were studied within the range of semichemical and chemical pulp. The results obtained are as follows :

We have bleached the sodiummonosulfite semichemical Japan beech pulp with hydrogen peroxide and by three-stage bleaching (chlorine, sodium hydroxide, calcium hypochlorite). Taking the bleached semichemical beech pulp and bleached kraft pulp of beech, their mechanical strengthes were compared when bleached semichemical or bleached kraft pulp of beech were mixed with bleached sulfite pulp of red pine.

ENZYME IMMUNOASSAY SYSTEM FOR RAT PARVALBUMIN

MOTOKI SANO, TSUKASA YOKOTA, JUNICHI SATO, TOYOSHI ENDO, HIROSHI TSUKAGOSHI
1987 Biomedical research
A highly sensitive sandwich enzyme immunoassay for parvalbumin has been developed. The amount of parvalbumin was measured by the sandwich enzyme immunoassay using anti-parvalbumin IgG-coated polystyrene balls and anti-parvalbumin Fab'-horseradish peroxidase conjugate. The minimum detection limit was 30 pg parvalbumin per assay tube. The present enzyme immunoassay was about 30-fold more sensitive than the previously described radioimmunoassay in which the detection limit was lng/tube. The assay

Concentrations of parvalbumin in various rat tissues were determined by this assay system. High concentrations of the protein were observed in fast skeletal muscles such as gastrocnemius and tibialis anterior. On the other hand, the concentration in soleus muscle was only about two hundredths that in fast skeletal muscles. Parvalbumin was also present in the heart, lung and kidney. The results suggest that parvalbumin may also play an important role in the regulation of Ca2+ ions in various tissues other than skeletal muscles.

18. Posterior Hypothalamotomy for Aggressive Behavior

Yuji MIYAZAKI, Hiroki HIRAI, Junichi NAKAMURA, Shinsho MATSUMOTO, Akio SATO
1965 Neurologia medico-chirurgica
The authors had reported the experiences of posterior hypothalamotomy for aggressive behavior in 4 cases. The 3 cases had marked mental retardation beside aggressive behavior and the one case had treated as genuine epilepsy for 10 years. All of these 4 cases had temper tantlum, explossive behavior and strongly aggressive emotion which are completely difficult to control by family and psychiatrist. The 2 cases had made the radiofrequency current lesion on both side after temporaly effect on one

These 2 cases had made 2 lesions in the posterior hypothalamus on one side and these lesion located close the nucleus perifornicalis. The authors had reported the changes of GSR, PTG, Puls rate, Blood pressure and EEG by stimulation of ergotropic zone in hypothalamus and pointed out that these changes are very important beside observation of flushing of face and dilatation of pupils (the authors had demonstrated by movie which taken in operation room) to decide the target of posterior hypothalamotomy. -281-
