Limiti della ricerca Il campione esamina un contesto ampio di modelli, tuttavia le tecniche utilizzate possono offrire margini di discrezionalità al ricercatore e conseguente parzialità nello svolgimento dell'analisi. Implicazioni pratiche: I risultati emersi e la tassonomia proposta possono rappresentare un riferimento utile alle organizzazioni per orientarsi nell'ampio e variegato panorama dei modelli esistenti. La classificazione è inoltre a vantaggio delle istituzioni pubbliche che, nell'erogazione dei contributi a sostegno delle iniziative sociali, hanno iniziato a tenere conto dei risultati effettivamente ottenuti. Parole chiave: impresa sociale; impatto sul territorio; valore sociale ed economico; impatto sociale; modelli di misurazione * Purpose of the paper: The relationship between business and community is becoming a relevant topic especially considering the competitive scenario characterized by deep changes in which the boundaries between profit and not-for-profit organizations are becoming blurred. So, in this context the literature on social entrepreneurship and the measurement of social impact is increasing. The aim of the paper is to develop a taxonomy of existing social impact measurement models, in order to describe their characteristics and aims. Methodology: Starting from the literature analysis n.76 models were selected and a hierarchical cluster analysis was developed. Findings: The research allows the description of the main characteristics of social impact measurement models and their classification in four categories. Research limits: The sample examines a large number of existing models, nevertheless the analysis techniques may provide room for discretion to the researcher. Practical implications: Emerged results can be a useful landmark for companies to address the landscape of existing models. Moreover, the proposed taxonomy is useful for public institutions, which had begun to assess the real achieved outcomes when funding social initiatives. Originality of the study: Since models are different in nature and purpose, classification systems are still incomplete. Identified criteria are applied to a wide sample of model in order to achieve a general classification.

Results: Thirty-two (91.4%) patients were female, mean height was 154.4 Ϯ 8.3 cm, mean weight was 62.2 Ϯ 9.2 kg, and mean body surface area was 1.59 Ϯ 0.13 m 2 . The preoperative average New York Heart Association class was 2.8 Ϯ 0.8. The mean preoperative left ventricular mass index was 135.2 Ϯ 31 g/m 2 . Preoperative echocardiography showed an average gradient of 65.7 Ϯ 19.2 mm Hg (mean) and 103.6 Ϯ 30.7 mm Hg (peak) and a mean indexed effective orifice area of 0.40 Ϯ 0.1 cm 2 /m 2 . Echocardiographic follow-up time averaged 28.2 Ϯ 22.7 months (range, 13-72 months). Follow-up was 100% complete (1131.7 patient-months). Hospital mortality was 8.6% (3 patients). Actuarial 5-year survival was 94.7%. The mean postoperative New York Heart Association class was 1.13 Ϯ 0.34 (P Ͻ .001), with 27 (87.1%) patients in class I and 4 patients in class II. A significant regression of the indexed left ventricular mass was found (postoperative mean value, 107.8 Ϯ 22.8 g/m 2 ; P Ͻ .0001), despite a mean indexed effective orifice area of 0.67 Ϯ 0.14 cm 2 /m 2 (median, 0.66 cm 2 /m 2 ). Conclusions: Selected patients with aortic stenosis can experience satisfactory clinical improvement and significant indexed left ventricular mass regression after aortic valve replacement with modern small-diameter bileaflet prostheses. A ortic valve replacement in patients with a small aortic root is still a challenge for the cardiac surgeon. Since 1978, when Rahimtoola 1 first pointed out the threat of poor outcome in patients receiving small aortic prostheses, an intense debate has developed on this topic without a uniform conclusion. Although some studies 2-4 have suggested the possibility that the increased morbidity and mortality in this subset of patients has to be mainly ascribed to patient-related factors rather than valve-related factors, others 5-8 show a significant
