In recent years, the Chinese central government has relaxed the enforcement of population control and allowed families to have two children. As a result, a large number of family have had or will have two children. The distinct differences between families with one child and families with two children are the arrival of the new family member relationship-sibling relationship. more » ... ing warmth, sibling conflicts and sibling relationships combined warmth with conflicts. The factors that influenced sibling relationships included sibling factors themselves (e.g., structural characteristics, temperament) and parents factors (parent-child relations, differential treatment, and marital relationship). Sibling relationships might influence children's development through the mechanism of attachment, social learning, and social comparison. In addition, an integrative model of sibling relationships is developed. Last, it emphasized that future studies should improve the theoretical frameworks, value the cultural role, and emphasize the research on prevention and intervention.

In the coking industry, the variety and quality of single coal is the basis for influencing the quality of coal blending and ultimately the quality of coke products. Nowadays, some coking plants generally use industrial analysis methods to determine the quality of coal varieties and coal blending. However, using industrial analysis method alone cannot ensure that the variety quality identification of single coal and mixed coal is correct and reliable, therefore, there is no guarantee of coking

Identifying coal by means of coal-rock analysis and distinguishing mixed coal can make up for the deficiency of industrial analysis in testing coal quality and types of coal. At the same time, according to the reflectivity of the vitrinite of coal can be additive, using synthetic coal reflectance distribution map to guide coal coking, can predict, improve and raise the quality of coke products. In this paper, some examples are given to identify coal type and distinguish mixed coal by reflectivity of coal vitrinite combined with industrial analysis method. At the same time, the method and example of applying synthetic coal reflectivity distribution map to guide coking coal to improve coke quality are also given. Finally noted, when using coal-rock method to guide coking and predict coke quality, it must be tested no arbitrary application.

The weighted visual cryptographic scheme (WVCS) is a secret sharing technology, where weights are assigned to each shadow (participant) according to its importance. In the recovery end, the secret could be reconstructed by minimum m shares when the privileged join in; otherwise, k shares are needed. The experimental results show that our method has the advantage of no pixel expansion and no codebook design by means of random grid. Moreover, the contrast of our model increased by 32.85% on average compared with that of other WVCS.

As is known that various dynamical systems including all Hamiltonian systems preserve volume in phase space. This qualitative geometrical property of the analytical solution should be respected in the sense of Geometric Integration. This paper analyses the volume-preserving property of exponential integrators in different vector fields. We derive a necessary and sufficient condition of volume preservation for exponential integrators, and with this condition, volume-preserving exponential
more » ... tors are analysed in detail for four kinds of vector fields. It turns out that symplectic exponential integrators can be volume preserving for a much larger class of vector fields than Hamiltonian systems. On the basis of the analysis, novel volume-preserving exponential integrators are derived for solving highly oscillatory second-order systems and extended Runge--Kutta--Nyström (ERKN) integrators of volume preservation are presented for separable partitioned systems. Moreover, the volume preservation of Runge--Kutta--Nyström (RKN) methods is also discussed. Four illustrative numerical experiments are carried out to demonstrate the notable superiority of volume-preserving exponential integrators in comparison with volume-preserving Runge-Kutta methods.

The proposed D3 (discriminative distribution distance) method effectively compares two sets as two distributions, and proposes a directional total variation distance (DTVD) to measure how separated are they. Furthermore, a robust classifier-based method is proposed to estimate DTVD robustly. The D3 method is evaluated in action and image recognition tasks and has achieved excellent accuracy and speed. D3 also has a synergy with FV. The combination of D3 and FV has advantages over D3, FV, and VLAD.

more » ... first collect a new dataset made up of over one hundred webcams from different places. Since existing algorithmic methods have poor accuracy, we propose a new pairwise learning strategy to learn features from selective pairs of images. Experiments show that our approach surpasses baseline methods by a large margin and achieves better results even compared with humans. We also apply our approach to existing subtle attribute recognition problems, such as temperature estimation, and achieve state-of-the-art results.
