Abstract
Consultation skills are more important than ever, with increasing emphasis on patient view. A geometrical approach to the Occupational health practitioners (OHPs) toolkit is suggested and could order, group or classify cases risk factors and causes as shapes (circles, triangles with squares) for common patterns of presentation of stress, perhaps as a basis for discussion in training, audit or other groups.
