  abstractNote={The late Peter Taylor, who led physical-organic chemistry at ICI Pharmaceuticals, wrote this treatise over a decade ago and it has been shared informally with interested people for a number of years. However, the work was fragmented over a number of documents and most people were unaware of its existence. As Peter's collaborator, I felt that there would be significant benefits to assembling the treatise and making it visible online.<br>For Version 1.0, I've made some small changes to the introduction and assembled the treatise from its component files. I've also added article titles and links to the references in order to make the cited literature more accessible to readers.<br>In the next version, I will review recent literature on tautomerism and convert (at least some of) the graphics.},
