Abstract

This paper is an attempt to pursue on how the nature was used and abused by man in the first half of 20thcentury in the Telangana. All the tribes developed a culture that had respect towards the ecology in which they live. Till recent times, research on tribes was mostly confined to socio-religious and economical issues. Studying tribal culture in ecological paradigm is an attempt to go for constructing comprehensive history.
