Abstract
The underground potable water-supplies of the State are of wide extent, great importance and good character, but are not everywhere equally available. One hundred and seventeen municipalities report public supplies drawn exclusively and eighteen others partly fr()tm this source. This report covers ownership of the water, 108 freshwater sources in New Jersey, recommendation to the state on acquiring water sources, and the rights of water companies.
