Abstract
Nach Kant sind "pathologische" Gefühle hinsichtlich ihres Gegenstandsbezugs stets indifferent. Zwar sind sich Scheler und Kant darin einig, dass sittliche Werte einen apriorischen Status besitzen. Scheler kritisiert jedoch an Kant die Gleichsetzung des Apriorischen mit dem Vernünftigen, was bei ihm in eine radikale Forderung eines "Apriorismus des Emotionalen" mündet. Dennoch wird Scheler in seiner Theorie einer "materialen Wertethik" der Kantischen Moral- und Gefühlslehre nur bedingt gerecht.
