Abstract

ICARUS scientific equipment was created for a space experiment to study moving of animals and birds. Two Progress vehicles delivered the hardware to the ISS RS. The features of the hardware preparation in the pressurized volume of the docking compartment (DC1) prior to the extravehicular activity (EVA) are described. The sequence of crew actions during the EVA is given. There is a description of the pre-flight crew training on ICARUS equipment assembling.
