  abstractNote={The evolution of information technology with the increasing availability of the internet, the students are able to access the most current advances through web coverage. Web-based resources are playing vital role for information seeking, dissemination and organization of knowledge. This paper study on the use of web resources (e-books, e-journals, e-databases subscribed by Health Science Library and Information Network consortium) by the Under Graduate, Post Graduate and PG Diploma course students of medical sciences at Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Bengaluru, Karnataka State. A well-structured questionnaire was designed to 150 students to collect data from respondents. A total number of 124 filled in questionnaires were received showing overall response rate of 82.66 %. It found that most of the medical students use Google and Yahoo as search engine for their work and consulted PubMed & Science Direct publishers for e-journal databases as web resources.},
