Abstract

Indonesian people already know about the traditional treatment. The availability of the potential broad biodiversity so right to develop its use as a traditional standardized test, as watermelon and tea leaves.The purpose of this research to know the effect of a dose of the skin watermelon water mixed with water steeping tea leaves which able to increase production of urine in mice type wistar.Rat white type wistar divided into 5 group; the I: aquades as control ( - ),II : furosemid as control ( + ), III: 250mg / kgbb the skin watermelon water mixed 20 mg / 200 g water steeping tea leaves , IV : 500mg / kgbb the skin watermelon water mixed 40 mg / 200g water steeping tea leaves , V : 1000 mg / kgbb the skin watermelon water mixed 60 mg / kgbb steeping tea leaves .The results of data processed using statistics of one-way anova with 95 degrees % trust.The results of observations urine capacity in 12 hours, the dose is 250mg/ kgbb skin of watermelon mixed 20 mg / 200g tea leaves when compared furosemid as control positive results with significant value 0,036(p<0,05).
