Abstract

Tematem opracowania jest projekt utworzenia "korytarza suwalskiego" – eksterytorialnej trasy prowadzącej od Kaliningradu na Białoruś przez terytorium Polski. Artykuł obejmuje lata 2001- -2002, kiedy to pomysł powrócił przy okazji domykania negocjacji związanych z akcesją Polski do Unii Europejskiej. Analizie poddano artykuły prasowe ukazujące się w najbardziej poczytnych polskich dziennikach danego okresu. Podsumowaniem tekstu jest próba odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy projekt utworzenia eksterytorialnego korytarza przez terytoria Polski miał szansę na realizację. The problem of the "Suwałki corridor" according to the Polish press from the years 2001 and 2002 The article presents the idea to create an extraterritorial route from Kaliningrad to Belarus through the territory of Poland, called the "Suwałki corridor". The article focuses on the years 2001 and 2002, when the idea returned due to the conclusion of negotiations related to Poland's accession to the European Union. Press articles from the most popular daily newspapers in this period were analyzed. In its conclusion, the article attempts to answer the question whether the project of creating an extraterritorial corridor in Poland had any chance of implementation.
