Abstract
This four-part series1 explores the relationship between rhythm, ex- pectation, and experience. It describes musical terms and central concepts while using specific examples from Morocco to problematize western-centric binaries. 1This originated online and is split into multiple separate parts. They are combined into a single PDF here for convenience. Some links may break over time, but the online versions will remain updated.
